Rust Preventative – Special plastic additive emits a harmless vapor that coats of the box and prevents rust. Prolong life of expensive lures, hooks, weights, and other fishing tackle.

Sun blocking additives mixed into the plastic lid prevents yellow/fading and harmful UV rays from box contents.

I fish Florida inshore saltwater using a kayak and found this tackle box to be exceptionally accommodating to the plastic lures, ranging in length from three to five inches. Utilization of the various modules allow for the independent storage of the lures without worry about the plastic composition of the lures having an adverse reaction with the other manufacturer's plastics.
